SPACE (International exhibition for animal breeding) has recently joined Promosalons as a member, what do you appreciate most about the network?  

In 2020, we had started to initiate collaboration with some offices of the Promosalons network but unfortunately, the Covid pandemic did not give us the opportunity to go further. So when the opportunity arose this year, we did not hesitate to set up actions! Joining the Promosalons network is a great opportunity to develop the international dimension of our show (nearly 10,000 trade visitors from 120 countries attended SPACE 2022). Promotion, identification of key players and support at the Show are at the heart of Promosalons’ expertise.

It is an additional way for us to identify actors who do not know our event, to reach a new country. One of the main advantages of the network for us is its ability to identify the key players in a sector of activity. This know-how has the great advantage of being combined with expertise in accompanying visitors in preparing their visit to the show.

You are setting up a special welcome for international visitors to Rennes, can you tell us more about your scheme?

The quality of the reception of its participants is a priority for SPACE. The welcome of our international visitors is therefore all the more important. These visitors have sometimes travelled a long way to come to Rennes, so we make sure that they feel as comfortable as possible at our show. In addition to free admission and the possibility of taking part in free farm visits, we offer them access to the International Club. This area, located in the heart of the Show, allows them to organise meetings with exhibitors, meet other delegations, get advice on suppliers who can provide them with solutions or simply take the time to relax a little… It is really a a must-see passage for them, where they feel good and where there is an absolutely unique atmosphere.

The show benefited from the Top Buyers programme, what were the benefits of this programme for this edition?  

The Top Buyers programme was the first time we worked with Promosalons and it was a great first! Nearly 25 buyers from 8 countries were able to discover our exhibition and to finalise their investment projects with our exhibitors. The most striking point for us was the profile of these buyers. Without the work done by the Promosalons teams to select buyers, to help them define their needs and to identify the companies that could provide them with solutions, it would have been difficult for us to make these targets aware of our show and to get them to come to SPACE. Their visit resulted in orders and business for our exhibitors. So the objective has been fully achieved. This programme also comes at an important time for the international development of our Show. It is therefore only the first step in the collaboration that we wish to pursue with the Promosalons teams.
