The next MAPIC will take place from 28 to 30 November 2023 at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes. MAPIC brings together every year the international players in the retail and leisure real estate sector, such as shopping centres, city centre shops and restaurants.
Half of the show is dedicated to retail brands, restaurant chains and leisure operators. Emerging players as well as established operators come to present their concepts and meet with developers, investors and brands to close deals.
The Retail Village brings together brands such as Slim Freddy’s, Kilo Shop, Place des Oliviers, F45 Training, Viti Vinci, Winelivery, Fermes&Co, Seekd, Poolday, You&Eye, Le chanvrier français, Club Café, Spartoo, la Fabuleuse Cantine, la Fabrique-Cookies, Adopt, Toasushi, Sooneat, Pdpaola, Icebearn Phenix Salon Suites, Daiso, etc.
Real estate developers, urban planners, tourism operators, local and public authorities come to MAPIC to help create the future lifestyle destinations associated with retail (shopping centres, cities, transit areas, leisure concepts). Many international investors are also present, as well as franchise partners, and all business services (designers, law firms, equipment suppliers, etc.).
New players will be present to respond to changing consumer expectations regarding environmental and societal issues, for example on the circular economy, waste reduction, local sourcing or community engagement.
Every year, the show organises the MAPIC Awards to reward innovations in the retail real estate sector in 12 categories (retail, F&B, leisure, omnichannel, sustainability, etc.), as well as a major Gala dinner.
Closed-door networking events allow players to find their future partners, conference speakers deal with topical issues to reinvent retail, and pitch sessions present new concepts for retailers, leisure operators and restaurant chains.
